WHO ARE WE

Founded in 2011 by a group of MIT students, MIT-CHIEF is a not-for-profit student organization registered at MIT. We are committed to promoting intellectual exchanges and collaborations between China and the United States in technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Our Teams

Branding

The branding team is dedicated to promoting and marketing MIT-CHIEF’s profile and organizational perception. We are targeting on our audience: connecting with partners, reaching out sponsors, and  bonding with fellows that share our passion. Our goals are to improve the communications with resources from all backgrounds and expand our influence in high-tech industries.

Community

We aim to build a multi-dimensional community that connects local companies and startup firms with educators and investors. We also aim to facilitate the formation of specialized communities for entrepreneurs at different stages or from different fields.

Planning

The planning team organizes and coordinates online events and activities, including webinars, annual conferences, and our featured business plan contest. As a team member in the Planning Team, you are not only required to have a great passion for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, but also a great time management skill, effective communication, and intellectual curiosity on the growth of a start-up business and its related industry.
