Chong Xu
Principal of F-Prime Capital
Ph.D. in Cell Biology from University of Virginia
MBA from Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
Chong Xu is a Principal at F-Prime Capital. He focuses primarily on biopharmaceutical and medical technology sectors and works closely with the Eight Roads Ventures Asia team to manage portfolio companies and new investment opportunities in China. Prior to joining F-Prime in 2015, Chong was an associate in McKinsey and Company’s Boston office.
Joe Singh
Partner of Regent Advisors
Joe Singh is a partner at International Financial Advisory firm Regent Advisors and a senior advisor to Massachusetts-based ROSC Global Investments. Joe has more than 20 years of progressive international experience in large financial and multi-national institutions, with tours-of-duty in the buy-side, sell side, asset management, and private equity lines of business. Joe has held senior posts at Bankers Trust, JP Morgan, and IBM / PwC. Joe holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Operations Research from Columbia University. He also holds an Honors Degree in Chemistry from Adelphi University, and an Executive / Entrepreneur-in-Residence at MIT Sloan and at Harvard Business School.

Shaoyu Chang is Vice President at FC Capital, specializing in early-stage healthcare and life sciences investments. FC Capital is a cross-border venture capital fund headquartered in Shanghai with additional offices in Boston and Taipei. Shaoyu takes an active leadership role in the full lifecycle of investment, execution and post-investment management. Portfolio companies including Angiex (Cambridge), JURA Bio (Boston), Vedanta Biosciences (Cambridge), Cellestia (Switzerland), and Acesion (Denmark).

Xinhong Zeng (Moderator)

Xinhong (Silvia) Zeng, currently an MBA candidate at MIT Sloan. Before her MBA, she worked as an investment banker at China International Capital Corporation for five years. She also worked for several tech startups in China and the US. Her most recent MBA internship is for a fintech company internally incubated by Tencent.
